Privacy notice

What we collect

If you use the inquiry form, we store your email address, organization, workflow description, site and a reference number in our Cloudflare database. We use these details to reply and discuss the work. Only our team can access the private inquiry inbox. If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We do not sell your information. Cloudflare and our hosting and email providers process information to provide these services.

Worksheets and inquiry attribution

Worksheet entries stay in the page and are not sent to us or saved after you reload. Print or save them as PDF if you want a copy. Inquiry forms retain the first page visited and a referring hostname or campaign label during the current tab session, expiring after 30 minutes without another page visit. These are saved with a submitted inquiry. We do not collect the referring page's full URL or its query string. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control disable this attribution storage; the form still works and records the page from which it was sent.

To limit automated submissions, we temporarily store a daily keyed hash derived from the connection IP, along with submission counts. This is separate from analytics and does not store the raw IP. Those entries expire after one day and are removed on a subsequent form submission. Inquiries remain available for follow-up; contact us to request deletion.

Analytics

We count visits ourselves, with a small script served from this site. There are no cookies. When a page loads, your browser sends us four things: the path you opened, the hostname of the site that linked you, the width of your window, and a random session id. We record one thing after that, which is whether the page stayed visible for 30 seconds. It tells us whether a page was read or closed straight away.

The session id is a random number your browser creates and holds for the visit. It expires after 30 minutes with no activity and it is gone when you close the tab. Each of our sites creates its own, so the id cannot be used to follow you from one to another. We do not store IP addresses or browser user agent strings with these counts, and we cannot tell who you are from them.

The counts for the Goodstack sites are kept in one database, with a label on each row for the site the visit was on. Nobody outside Goodstack receives them.

If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, the script counts nothing at all.

Hosting and fonts

The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes requests, including IP addresses, to deliver pages and stop abuse. Fonts load from Google Fonts, so Google receives a request from your browser when a page loads.

No advertising trackers

There are no advertising pixels on this site.
